I want to believe that everyone is nice

To believe what we’re told, but at what price

A new world order is comin’ to town

Are we to accept this, are we down

 

They got us on lockdown, can we not see

So many new bound’ries, are we even free

 

But who in fact is ruling the world

Are they powerful people with plans unfurled

But can we still question the powers that be

Are we allowed to reason, are we really free

 

Perhaps we get creative and help them to bind

Do we even question the truth in our mind

 

Should we blindly accept all we are told

Shall we just bide our time as we grow old

Is it even in style to question the norm

But are we wearing blinders from the day we are born

 

Do we search for answers or just let things be

We’re no longer together, are we no longer free

They got us on lockdown, can we not see
